Frac Rite Environmental Ltd. is pleased to welcome Mr. Tyler Riewe to the company to assist us on our remediation projects over the summer. Tyler is currently studying Environmental and Conservation Sciences at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada and will be completing his program in 2008. Tyler’s responsibilities at Frac Rite are to assist in the performance monitoring of on-going in situ remediation projects and field support on soil fracturing and amendment injection projects. Welcome aboard, Tyler!

Frac Rite Environmental Ltd. is delighted to have been involved in the 2007 SPRING ENVIRONMENTAL SEMINAR hosted by Trium Solutions Inc. at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta – Canada. Trium Solutions Inc. (TRIUM) is an environmental consulting firm providing expertise in environmental forensics, environmental toxicology, environmental risk assessment, analytical chemistry, data quality assurance, litigation support, hydrogeological investigation and monitoring, environmental site assessment, environmental risk management, remediation engineering and project management.

The half day seminar was attended by a diverse group of attendees including energy producers, pipeline companies, regulatory and municipal representatives, as well as developers. Presenter topics ranged from models for salt ion differentiation, environmental forensics and risk assessment, to wet lands remediation (TRIUM). Frac Rite’s presenter was Mr. Gordon Bures, Director of Remediation Services who spoke on Delivery Methods for Optimizing in situ Remediation using Treatment Amendments. All topics presented were engaging and relevant, as indicated by the audience’s interactive participation and questions.
