Welcome the latest addition to our fleet – the EFI2000 Permeation Injection Unit!

Frac Rite proudly announces the latest addition to our fracturing and injection fleet, the EFI2000 Permeation – Injection unit. This equipment was designed and fabricated in house specifically to meet the increasing demand for injection of a wide variety of solution based oxidants and bio-amendments from a small, portable operational platform. However, unlike other service providers who only represent or inject certain brands of treatment reagents, Frac Rite has no vested interest in any particular treatment product over another. We have therefore designed our equipment to accomodate the fullest range possible of treatment amendments, having emplaced and mapped the subsurface distribution of virtually every commercially available remedial treatment product from zero valent iron to lactates, surfactants, soy oils, all manner of slurry and solution oxidants, including nano-peroxides. In addition, we have designed our own proprietary operational protocols for the safe and effective delivery of these treatment amendments into subsurface environments, including bedrock.

Frac Rite, Eco Scan, Inc. and Holland Innovation Team (H.I.T.) partnering on "Desert Rose" fracture-enhanced water recovery from Gypsum deposits.

Gypsum is a soft mineral that occurs in abundance across the Arabian Peninsula and in Oman and Saudi Arabia in particular. It has one unique property, which is its ability to hold large quantities of water; trillions of litres may be locked into deposits across the region. Our team, led by H.I.T. in Rotterdam, have devised a strategy using fracturing and proprietary extraction technology for a field pilot implementation to extract water from gypsum formations. This research pilot is currently being considered for funding by interested parties in Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Frac Rite and TRIUM Solutions Inc. announce the first ever Korean Remediation Certificate issued for remediation to "Level 1" Commercial/Industrial Standards by in situ methods.

Frac Rite and their Korean licensee, TRIUM Solutions, Inc. were invited by the ROK Army to conduct a pilot demonstration project for the remediation of a diesel- contaminated military base in South Korea using frac-permeation technology. The work was conducted in June and July of 2009 and involved the fracture-emplacement and permeation of modified Fentons Reagent to mitigate Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon impacts in soil to below applicable land use clean-up criteria. Third party validation demonstrated that initial soil contaminant concentrations approaching 10,000 mg/kg were reduced to well below the remediation criteria of 2,000 mg/kg within two months. The success of this demonstration project resulted in the adoption of frac-permeation treatment as the only sanctioned in situ remediation technology permitted at South Korean military sites.
