| AMENDMENT INJECTION SERVICES
The growth of in situ remediation over conventional methods often requires the emplacement or injection of treatment amendments into contaminated subsoils and groundwater. Fracture-emplacement techniques are generally used to emplace solid phase treatment amendments into saturated and unsaturated sediments or bedrock. Distribution of amendment is by fracture propagation radially from the fracture borehole. Direct-injection techniques are generally employed for injecting liquid amendment solutions or slurries into permeable sediments. Distribution of the amendment is reliant upon its migration through the available pore space in permeable sediments at sub-fracture pressures. Both techniques require their own specific mixing and pumping procedures.
Frac Rite™ provides amendment delivery and mapping services for both liquid and solid phase treatment amendments, whether emplaced by fracturing or direct-injection techniques. Amendment delivery is facilitated by our custom built downhole fracture/injection probes which are suitable for virtually all soil/bedrock conditions. Our downhole tooling is compatible with most drilling equipment, including auger, rotary, sonic, direct push, and horizontal directional drilling.
Don’t take a chance by second-guessing which delivery technique is best for your application; call us for a free consultation on what your most cost-effective options might be.
